A Postal Transport Officer under the age of 20 years shall receive the appropriate junior rate according to age and shall be advanced to the minimum adult rate for a Postal Transport Officer upon:
- Attaining 21 years of age; or
- On completion of twelve months service or at 18 1/2 years of age, whichever is the latter.
Allowances
In addition to the salary range prescribed above a Postal Transport Officer required to drive motor vehicle shown in Column 1 hereunder shall be paid an allowance at the rate shown in Column 2 for each day or portion thereof whilst so engaged.
